Hello lads and lasses..
First I want to say forgive me because I never update this blog. What can I say. My daily life and job took my time away. I was so busy for last three months. So I am sorry if there are no updates on this blog.

There is also though moment for Liverpool FC so far. After we lost highest place on English Premiere League then we abandoned from FA Cup. We’ve got too many draw result.

I wish these result on England will not take effect on Champions League while The Reds have to fly away to Madrid against Real Madrid this Wednesday, February 25, 2009. I wish The Reds will get a positive result from Madrid.

The Reds face The White at last 16 ECL

From Europe Champions League, UEFA have announced yesterday at Nyon, Switzerland if Liverpool finally will face against Real Madrid in the last 16 stage.

The first leg will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid on Wednesday February 25, 2009. Second match will be played at Anfield on Tuesday, March 10, 2009.

I don't know about you, but I think this is a hard drawing result because Real Madrid is a big team even they're still confuse in La Liga. They are still have more spirit to compete in Europe Champions League. But I'm sure Liverpool will finish the matches with glory because Liverpool also have a great history at Europe Champions League.

I think we have to thanks you to The Reds skipper, Steven Gerrard. By his two goals couple hours ago, The Reds has pushed away from terrible lost versus Hull City at Anfield. The final score itself was 2-2 even there were so many opportunity for The Reds to made more than two goals.

The Reds was left at the first after Hull City success made a score at minute 12 and Jamie Carragher own goal. But Liverpool soon gives a quick response after that. Steven Gerrard made his first goal at minute 22 then he added his goal at minute 32 so the score became 2-2.

This is absolutely a loss for Liverpool considering we played at Anfield. And of course we really need a win to keep our position in English Premiere League. We'll keep on the top if Chelsea lost at Stamford Bridge versus West ham United tomorrow. And sure I wish they will.

Great performance of Reds players with their national team

On Thursday, November 20, 2008, together there were some International Friendly Matches in Europe and America. Some players must be back to their country to join with their national team. There were also some Liverpool players who joined their national team. And you know what, they were made a crucial performance for their national team.

Two Liverpool’s strikers were made scores for their country. Fernando Torres did the score at El Madrigal Stadium to made Spain win 3-0 versus Chile. Il Nino was a substitution player for David Villa at that match but he did his class while he made Spain’s second goal. This is a good performance for him after his injured. I hope he will back to make more goals with The Reds at English Premiere League.

Another Reds striker, Dirk Kuyt also made a great performance after he made score at second half injury time to bring Netherland win 3-1 versus Sweden. I think this season is Dirk’s best season after he made 5 goals for The Reds so far. I wish he keeps his good performance until the season over and bring the 19th title for The Reds.

Good performance also showed by other Liverpool players, Albert Riera and Javier Mascherano. Spanish first goal was made by David Villa by penalty shoot, but Riera did the show before he was down by Chile’s defender in the penalty area. Javier Mascherano bring Argentina to win 1-0 versus Scotland at Glasgow as brand new Tango’s captain under Diego Maradona command.

After getting unsuccessful result at last 2 matches at English Premiere League (lost 1-2 versus Tottenham Hotspurs) and draw 1-1 at Champions League versus Atletico Madrid, The Reds back to the track after beat West Bromwich Albion 3-0 at Anfield.

This match must be remembered for The Reds new striker, Robbie Keane because he was finally made scores for the first time at English Premiere League since he was transferred from Tottenham Hotspurs. He made 2 goals at minute 34 and 43 at the first half. He was absolutely made outstanding performance last night. The third goal was made by Alvaro Arbeloa at minute 90. Last night also remarkable as Fernando Torres back after long injured.

The winning make The Reds back to the top of English Premiere League. This is will stands until next week if Chelsea lost against Blackburn Rovers tonight.

The Reds are on top

Finally The Reds is on the top of English Premiere League after on Sunday night destroyed Chelsea 1-0 by Xabi Alonso strike. And now Liverpool is the only club which unbeatable so far.

The big match at Stamford Bridge is so interesting while Liverpool and Chelsea try to attack each other. But Chelsea fans was shocked at minute 10 after Xabi Alonso strike to made score for The Reds. Both clubs are play the match without some key players such as Fernando Torres and Martin Skrtel at The Reds side and Drogba and Essien at Chelsea.

This winning is also ended Chelsea record which unbeatable at Stamford Bridge since 2004. Great match for The Reds and now if Liverpool can beat Arsenal I do believe The Reds will be Champions of English Premiere League.

Everybody around me says that The Reds will not make a win at Stamford Bridge this Sunday at English Premiere League.

The Reds will come to London still without Fernando Torres. Sure this is bad but The Reds is not just FT9. We're still have Dirk Kuyt, Ryan Babel and Robbie Keane who scored at Champions League versus Atletico Madrid last Wednesday.

Chelsea itself will play without their some key players. Ballack, Essien, Drogba and Anelka won't play tonight because injured. So I think this is a fair condition for both clubs.

Whoever win this match, they will be at the top of English Premiere League so far. And I wish Liverpool will smash The Blues at their homeground so my weekend will gonna be completely wonderful.

Tomorrow (22/10) Europe Champions League will be roll again. The Reds will fly to Madrid, Spain for away match versus Atletico Madrid. I’m waiting this match for a long time since Atletico’s former hero, Fernando Torres move to Liverpool. I’m just curious what will Atletico’s fans o to their ex-hero. It’s also will be an emotional match for Il Nino.

Unfortunately my dream can’t come true this year because Il Nino wouldn’t play for his first home coming to Vicente Calderon because injured. As I ever posted before that Fernando Torres get injured at his right hamstring foot while he was played for Spain at 2010 World Cup qualification.
I think i have to be patient to watch Il Nino first home coming next years. It's too bad for me cause I think it would be a great match.

Another comeback

Once again The Reds had another great comeback after conquered Wigan Athletics 3-2 on the English Premiere League at Anfield last night.

Played not so well and left behind 1-2 at the end of first half by Amr Zaki and Dirk Kuyt goal, The Reds raised to proved their class and finally won the game after Albert Riera score to draw 2-2 at minute 80. Dirk Kuyt became a hero after his acrobatic kick to change the score 3-2 for The Reds.

This 3-2 winning made The Reds undefeatable at English Premiere League so far with Chelsea. This keeps The Reds at second place. Last night also remarkable for Albert Riera because he was made his first goal at English Premiere League with The Reds.

At top performance The Reds have to lost 2 strikers caused injured. It’s sad fact because they’re all are valuable players for Liverpool.

Fernando Torres injured at right hamstring while he play for Spain at 2010 World Cup qualification. Probably he can’t play for The Reds for next 4 matches including his first home coming to Vicente Calderon while Liverpool versus Atletico Madrid at Champions League.

Ryan Babel also get injured while he play for Dutch at 2010 World Cup qualification against Norway. But he might be can play at Anfield this Saturday against Wigan Athletic.

Dear lads and lasses,
I’m sorry because I never do some update for this blog for quite long time. I’m in my homeland since 11 days ago and there were so many things to do so I can’t get online to post any stories at this blog. But thanks God finally I can online now.

Never update this blog doesn’t meant that I left anything about Liverpool FC. I still follow some Liverpool matches. The best thing is I watched all Liverpool matches along I’m in my homeland with Big Reds region Semarang. For you notice Big Reds is Official Liverpool FC Supporter in Indonesia. So we sing and cheers along the matches. And that was amazing for me. I just feel like that I was at Anfield haha….

Here’s some highlight about Liverpool for the last two weeks

Merseyside belong to The Reds after we were success smashed Everton.
Steven Gerrard got his 100 goals along his career with The Reds after he score one goal at 2nd match European Champions league versus PSV Eindhoven.
Rafa’s new player Robbie Keane finally made his first goal at 2nd match European Champions league versus PSV Eindhoven.

Frustrated by The Stoke

Its looks like there was the whole Stoke’s players are in their penalty area so The Reds can’t score! After getting three points at 2 last matches Liverpool getting stuck at Anfield while Stocke City success frustrating Rafa’s Squad.

Dominated along the match The Reds can’t make any goal to Stoke’s net. With Fernando Torres and Robbie Keane as starter The Reds only get one point. Actually The Reds captain Steven Gerrard at first-half could make a goal from free-kick but it was disallowed by the referee.

Of course this is not a satisfied result because we could be overlapped by another club.

It's a wonderful Saturday Night

Even though without Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres, Liverpool success destroy Manchester United at Anfield in Britain’s Derby of English Premiere League. 2-1 for The Reds I think good enough for this Saturday.

Man. Utd. Scores first by Argentina striker Carlos Teves. But Liverpool can draw it after Wes Brown made an own goal. At second half The Reds has the show while they got full frontal attack to Man. Utd. side. And the victory goal finally arrived at 10 minutes before the match is over. Ryan Babel has the score. 2-1 for Liverpool ‘til the end.

A good performance has showed by new Liverpool player, Albert Riera. He was absolutely confusing Man. Utd. right side with his move.

So that’s it. This is a wonderful night for every Liverpool supporters around the universe. And I wish this good performance will be continues after this season end.

Britain's Derby this Saturday

This Saturday England will be hottest than before just because there is a big match at English Premiere League while Liverpool FC will be face against Manchester United. A classic match. A Britain’s Derby. A match about superiority who’s the real Red over Britain?

But there is a doubt at Anfield while two most influential players Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres get injured. Are they able to be starter at this match? Even Rafael Benitez gives guarantee that these two players will be ready for Saturday big match, but there are so many people doubt about it.

Now without Gerrard and Torres, can we destroy Manchester United as the world wide fans want it? I guess so. Rafael Benitez is a great tactician. He must be have problem solver about this mess. We still have Robbie Keane, Dirk Kuyt, Xabi Alonso, Javier Mascherano.

Another Spanish Reds : Albert Riera

Another Spain has arrived at Anfield. He is Albert Riera. This International Spain player is coming from Espanyol.

This is Albert’s second coming to English Premiere League. Before joins Liverpool he was a Manchester City player for 2005-2006 season. Now in Rafael Benitez squad he will become a left winger; an perfect position of Albert Riera in 4-2-3-1 formation.

Just for your info that Albert Riera was born on April 15, 1982 at Manacor in the island of Mallorca.

Fernando Torres had successes open 2008/2009 English Premiere League with victory. Versus Sunderland at Stadium Of Light at last weekend, he made the only one goal that evening. Even at that match Liverpool can’t show the best performance. But thank God for Fernando Torres. He is our savior.

This season The Reds have a lot of striker. Beside Fernando Torres Liverpool also bought Robbie Keane from Tottenham Hotspurs. Most people said that this is Rafa’s big deal this season because Keane was great player while as Spurs striker. He was made 80 goals with Spurs.

With Fernando Torres and Robbie Keane plus Dirk Kuyt and Andriy Voronin, there is no doubt at all to say that The Reds frontline is good enough. And don’t forget to another Liverpool transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, David N’Gog who had score 2 goals along pre-season matches.

It’s almost two decades that English Premiere League lost from Anfield. And that’s hurt enough for us –the biggest football club supporter in the world.

For the club as big as Liverpool, it is a sad fact that we have been lifts the major local trophy for 18 years. I always believe that we have capability to get it just like 70s – 80s eras. I don’t believe if somebody told me that now it’s not The Reds glorious time.

Tomorrow, August 16, the most exciting national football league in the world will be begins. Just like an old time there’s always a big question in our mind. Can we make it now? Can we bring the trophy back to Anfield? Yes we’ve been hungry for national major trophy for a long long time ago.

But just like an old time we’ve always hope that Rafa and his squad will satisfying us with local and international trophies. With recent squad I think they can make our dream come true.

Liverpool getting positive result on 2 last pre-season matches versus Valerenga and Lazio. Of course this makes all Liverpudlian happy and raise optimism faces 2008/2009 Premiere League.

In Oslo, Norway (05/08), Liverpool successful crushed Valerenga with big score 4-1. The interesting thing from this match is players who scores at Oslo is just the same with players who scores at Glasgow, Scotland. Yes lads there are Xabi Alonso, Fernando Torres, Yossi Benayoun and David N’Gog.

Liverpool FC Pre-Season Results so far

After get a little bit disappointment result in pre-season/friendly match, finally Liverpool FC show their class. Only four goals along the friendly matches absolutely make Liverpool fans wonder how’s the chance in the next season? Can we make it?

Four goals from different players make Scottish club, Glasgow Rangers suffer on their home Ibrox stadium at last sunday. Fernando Torres, Yossi Benayoun & Xabi Alonso finally cheers us up at last weekend. And one goal from Reds new player, David N’Gog completes our joy. I wish it is not his last goal with Liverpool. And I think he was one of good transfer that Liverpool did.

Another Liverpool new players also play at that match. And generally they are plays for good. Once again I hope it will gone last forever so we can get the Premiere league trophy and another trophies in the future.

New Young Players

Before Rafael Benitez transferred Robbie Keane from Tottenham Hotspurs to Liverpool, which made the richest player transfer in the Liverpool history, Rafa had some transfers of young players to Anfield. All of them are young talented players.

Philip Degen was transferred from Borussia Dortmund. The Reds get this 25 years-old Swiss international player by free transfer. Liverpool had a deal with this right-back for four years.

Diego Cavalieri was third Brazilian player in Rafa squad. This 25 years-old goalkeeper was transferred from Brazilian club, Palmeiras. He was sealed for four years transfer for about 3 millions pounds.

Andrea Dossena. Transferred from Italia club, Udinese with undisclosed fee. This left-back was sealed for four years.

David N’Gog is another young talented who joined with The Reds. Transferred from France club, Paris Saint-Germain for four years with 1,5 millions pounds. He is still 19 years-old and his position is striker.

Robbie Keane joins Liverpool FC

Ireland forward Robbie Keane has signed with The Reds at Tuesday July 29, 2008. He came from London club Totenham Hotspurs for 20,3 million pounds for 4 years.

Keane said to media that he is so happy for this deal because he is a Liverpool fans since childhood and this is something like dream comes true. Robbie Keane will wear famous number seven The Reds jersey which used to Liverpool legends Kenny Dalglish and Kevin Keegan.

This 28 years old forward transfer made new record for Liverpool richest player transfer. Before Keane’s deal this record has belong to Fernando Torres deal a year ago while he move from Atletico Madrid to Liverpool.

So many people ask for this deal considering Keane is 28 now so he doesn’t have no value after his sign is over with The Reds and could he give a good performance with Fernando Torres for Liverpool forward.

Crouchy one step closer to Pompey

The Reds tall striker (201 cm), Peter Crouch finally decided to left from Anfield after he was lost his position at Liverpool’s 1st team. He was confused with that condition which made him lost his opportunity to join England national team.

Then on July 9th, 2008 as Liverpoolfc.tv said he was signed for 4 years deal with Portsmouth. Portsmouth cost 11 million pounds to move him from Anfield. But before he could completely move to Fratton Park, this England striker has to be in medical test.

Peter ‘Crouchy’ Crouch joined with Liverpool FC from Southampton at 2005 with 42 goals from 135 appearance with The Reds.

Liverpool FC midfielder/winger from Australia; Harry Kewell finally goes to Turkish giant football club, Galatasaray. He was made a deal with Galatasaray for three years with free transfer.

Liverpool FC has not to lengthen his contract after this 29-years-old Australian player often getting injured at last season.

Liverpool FC striker; Fernando Torres finally win a cup. This year might be the best year for El Nino. After getting successful achievement with Liverpool FC on his first season, then he continues the glory with Spain national football team.

Last night he proved his skill to the world. At EURO 2008 final match against Germany, he scored for Spain after he conquered Jans Lehmann at 1st half. And that is the only goal for that match. Fernando Torres became a hero for Spain after a very long time without a trophy. The whole country cheers up and there were party everywhere. It’s all because El Nino’s super goal.

John Arne Riise leave from Anfield

Since early 2008 there was an issue which told that LFC left-back John Arne Riise will be left LFC in next season. His descend performance is the reason.

Now its going true that finally John Arne Riise left Anfield to Italian football club, AS Roma for 4 millions poundsterling. Become Reds squad since summer 2001 from AS Monaco, this strong Norway defender has reaches so many glorious cups. UEFA cup, FA cup, Champions League cup, etc.

So many people said that the main reason why Riise out from Anfield is his own goal at 2nd leg semifinal UEFA Champions League against Chelsea which made LFC failed to go to final at Moscow. EURO 2008

As we know tomorrow Sunday, June 7, 2008, EURO 2008 will start. 16 national football team from over Europe will be conquers each other to be the best in Europe. This EURO 2008 will be held at Austria and Switzerland.

Unfortunately England do not include in to this championship. It is ironic because England now has the best football league in the world. It was proved by 4 England football club always reach a final in UEFA Champions League for last 3 years. Fact that England can not compete in this EURO 2008 makes we can not watch the actions of the best skipper in the world, Steven Gerrard.

But there will be 5 Liverpool FC players in EURO 2008. Fernando Torres, Jose ‘Pepe’ Reina, Xabi Alonso, Alvaro Arbeloa (Spain), Dirk Kuyt (Netherland). At least we still can watch some Liverpool FC in this EURO 2008. And maybe Fernando Torres will be top score in EURO 2008. Who knows?

Boycott new jersey kit

Since I read a news on liverpoolfc.tv which tells that Liverpool FC on April 25, 2008 release their home jersey kit for 2008/2009 season, I have a little suspicion that was a way of LFC new owner to dig money from club loyal fans from around the world.

I don’t know with another club but I think it’s little strange for me that release a jersey for next season while this season have finish yet. In a way to grab some cash from fans Liverpool have start to wear their next home jersey at match against Manchester City last week.

As I told you that this new jersey is cool but I think I don’t buy it cause Tom Hicks and George Gillett are only make Liverpool FC as their money-maker. Besides they were also creating a chaotic situation inside Liverpool FC by their acts and statements. That’s why fans don’t like them.

According those facts since a couple days ago some fans have made some progress to protest. One of those is a petition to refuse LFC new home jersey. So if you’re agree to boycott LFC new home jersey you might to join to sign the petition here.

Good Bye Moscow

Well here we go. This is what we were achieves in UEFA Champions League 2007/2008. We’re can not go to Moscow in final because Chelsea stopped us at Stamford Bridge on 2nd leg Semi final. We’re can’t continue our success at European Champions League just like 2005.

It was not a bad game for The Reds against Chelsea because we still can attack to their defense. To strive for make a score The Reds start the match very well. We were still gave Chelsea a fight which it proved by Fernando Torres and Ryan Babel goals. Although the result is not happy for us but it’s ok. We’re lost at 4-3 aggregate. Bad achieves but it’s not a bad fight actually.

I don’t know why this lost is not broke my heart too much. That’s not mean that I lost my faith this season. No way. I have 110% faith in Liverpool FC. Not just like the past time I feel so bad and lost my mood for couple days if The Reds lost in the game, I feel little excuse to another clubs to get the title.

I just give some words to anyone who humiliate me “No problem. Cause we just wanna give another clubs to try to show off. It's just like a senior to junior, a superior to inferior ahahahaha…..”

Liga Champions Eropa musim 2007/2008 saat ini sudah memasuki masa-masa krusial. Setelah minggu lalu 3 tim Inggris dan 1 tim Spanyol memainkan laga pertama semifinal, maka minggu ini keempat tim semifinalis akan memastikan siapa yang berhak atas 2 tempat di final Liga Champions Eropa yang akan digelar di Stadion Luzhinski Moscow. Akankah terjadi all England final?

Bermain di stadion Anfield menjamu Chelsea, Liverpool hanya mampu meraih hasil seri 1-1, meski bermain dengan sangat baik. Laga yang seharusnya dimenangkan Liverpool ini harus diakhiri dengan gol bunuh diri John Arne Riise pada masa injury time beberapa detik sebelum laga usai yang menjadikan skor 1-1 dan memberi keuntungan buat Chelsea atas gol away. Keputusan wasit memberikan masa injury time selama 4 menit memang layak dipertanyakan mengingat pada babak pertama masa injury time yang diberikan hanya 1 menit. Pelatih Liverpool Rafa Benitez sangat gusar dengan kenyataan ini yang membuat The Reds menjadi sedikit lebih berat dalam memuluskan jalan ke final.

Seperti yang sudah-sudah, menjelang laga semifinal kedua yang akan digelar di kandang Chelsea Rabu ini banyak pihak yang lebih menjagokan Chelsea melaju ke final dari pada Liverpool. Selain unggul gol away Chelsea juga diuntungkan oleh factor tuan rumah. Tapi seperti yang sudah-sudah pula Liverpool sukses menjungkir balikkan semua prediksi dan membuktikan dirinya sebagai salah satu penguasa Eropa dengan 2 kali melangkah ke final dengan salah satunya berakhir dengan juara. Perlu dicatat dalam 2 final tersebut Liverpool selalu menghajar Chelsea di semifinal. Jadi tidak ada alasan bukan untuk tidak menjagokan Liverpool sebagai salah satu finalis Liga Champions musim ini.

Demi memastikan tempat di final malam ini Liverpool harus bermain fokus dan disiplin. Jangan lagi ada kesalahan! Sekecil apapun! Karena pada semifinal pertama sudah terbukti kesalahan sekecil apapun akan berakibat sangat fatal. Dan ini tidak boleh terulang di London. Meski bukan yang utama tapi kepemimpinan wasit juga layak menjadi perhatian. Ingat kali ini kita akan berlaga di Stamford Bridge. Red alert juga pantas diberikan kepada Steven Gerrard dan Jamie Carragher untuk lebih berhati-hati dalam bermain karena kedua ikon Liverpool ini sudah mengantongi 1 kartu kuning. Jika malam ini salah satu atau keduanya kembali mendapatkan kartu kuning dan Liverpool melaju ke final maka salah satu atau keduanya dipastikan akan absen di Moscow.

Sama dengan jutaan suporter Liverpool yang tersebar di seluruh alam semesta, aku sendiri tidak pernah mempunya keraguan sedikit pun akan peluang The Reds di London malam nanti. 110% kita akan berlaga di Moscow 21 Mei nanti dan untuk ke 6 kalinya The Reds akan mengangkat trophy Liga Champions.

Liga Inggris musim kompetisi 2007/2008 belum selesai tetapi Liverpool FC sudah mengumumkan seragam barunya untuk musim depan. Tetapi yang baru dirilis adalah seragam untuk laga home. Sedangkan untuk laga away sampai saat ini belum dirilis.

Seperti diberitakan liverpoolfc.tv para fans The Reds di seluruh dunia sudah mulai dapat memesan jersey laga home untuk musim 2008/2009 melalui website liverpoolfc.tv. Home jersey keluaran Adidas ini masih tetap mengandalkan kombinasi antara tradisi dan style. Di jersey home terbaru ini Adidas menghilangkan ornamen garis putih di dada dan mengganti desain kerah dengan V-neck berwarna putih. Terlihat lebih simpel dan lebih intimidatif. Kesan intimidatif ini juga terlihat pada desain home jersey untuk posisi kiper. Berwarna hitam dengan 3 stripes Adidas trade mark berwarna merah menjadikan Pepe Reina terlihat lebih kokoh dan garang dengan kostum ini.

Beberapa pemain pun memberikan komentar positif mengenai desain home jersey ini. Steven Gerrard dan Xabi Alonso diantaranya.Well untuk kalian yang hobi meng-koleksi jersey Liverpool silahkan segera memesan di liverpoolfc.tv. Mantap di Empat

The Reds semakin memantapkan posisinya di peringkat 4 klasemen sementara Liga Inggris setelah barusan (19/04) mengalahkan Fulham dengan skor 2-0. Sebuah hasil yang menggembirakan mengingat Liga Inggris akan segera berakhir dalam hitungan beberapa pekan ke depan. Hasil positif ini juga semoga menjadi pemompa semangat dan mental The Reds saat menghadapi Chelsea dalam semifinal pertama Liga Champions yang akan digelar di Anfield 22 April besok.

Laga di Cravern Cottage yang baru berakhir beberapa jam yang lalu, Jermaine Pennant membuka keunggulan The Reds pada menit 17 setelah menerima umpan dari Lucas Leiva. Jermaine Pennant turut andil dalam gol ke dua Liverpool setelah memberi assist yang matang kepada Peter Crouch. Striker jangkung Peter Crouch menggenapi kemenangan The Reds dengan golnya pada menit ke-70. Gol Holy Crouchy ini juga sekaligus membuktikan kapasitasnya sebagai bomber yang tidak layak jual pada musim panas mendatang. Ya seperti di-isukan oleh beberapa media bahwa si jangkung ini isunya akan dilepas oleh Rafa Benitez musim depan. Newcastle United sangat berminat memboyong si jangkung yang akan ditandemkan bersama mantan striker Liverpool sebelumnya Michael Owen.

Di pertandingan melawan Fulham ini Rafa Benitez sengaja menyimpan beberapa pilarnya diantaranya Steven Gerrard dan Fernando Torres demi menjaga stamina dan kebugaran keduanya untuk menghadapi Chelsea selasa depan. Kemenangan ini juga sekaligus menjauhkan Liverpool kejaran sang rival sekota, Everton dalam memperebutkan jatah terakhir untuk Liga Champions musim depan.
